MECIP was engaged by a leading Malaysia Oil & Gas Production and Distribution Company to provide Detailed Engineering Design (DED) services for the upgrading of fuel terminal facilities in support of the nationwide implementation of B30 biodiesel blending requirements.

The project formed part of a strategic initiative to enhance fuel infrastructure capabilities and facilitate the transition from lower biodiesel blend specifications to B30-compliant operations. MECIP delivered comprehensive multidisciplinary engineering solutions covering process, mechanical, piping, civil & structural, electrical, instrumentation, and safety engineering disciplines.

The scope included engineering assessments, facility modifications, storage and transfer system upgrades, blending infrastructure enhancements, and the preparation of detailed engineering deliverables to support construction and implementation activities across multiple terminal locations.

By leveraging its extensive experience in fuel terminal and downstream oil & gas facilities, MECIP successfully developed practical and cost-effective engineering solutions that enhanced operational flexibility, maintained regulatory compliance, and supported the client’s sustainability objectives.
