New Security Integrated Complex at Melaka Refinery

MECIP successfully delivered engineering services for the development of a new Security Integrated Complex at one of Malaysia’s major refining facilities. The project was undertaken to enhance site security, operational monitoring, and access control capabilities, supporting the refinery’s ongoing commitment to safe, secure, and efficient operations.

The facility was designed as a modern integrated security hub, incorporating advanced surveillance systems, monitoring facilities, personnel access management, and supporting infrastructure. MECIP’s multidisciplinary team provided comprehensive engineering expertise to ensure the facility met the client’s operational requirements, security standards, and future expansion needs.

Located within an operational refinery environment, the project required careful planning and execution to ensure seamless integration with existing facilities while maintaining refinery safety and operational requirements throughout implementation.
